On January 2, 2001, a team of Christians from the rural Coshocton County, Ohio procured the property that formerly housed the Warsaw Church of God. With a building that had been vacant for many years, and the common vision to reach the Village of Warsaw, the surrounding communities, the State of Ohio and our Nation with the Gospel of Christ – the team began the process of transforming the building into a place of worship. This vision was birthed and rightfully named “New Beginnings”, with the first services being held on March 1, 2001.
As more and more people joined the ministry, it was evident that we had outgrown the original facility, so we began the expansion process. We were blessed to be able to purchase the surrounding properties that now encompass a full city block. With congregational support to complete the process “debt free” – the ministry plunged ahead toward building our new sanctuary, which can seat more than double the capacity of the original building. Our first service in the new facility was on March 4, 2012 – the 11-year anniversary of the ministry!
It is our prayer that our ministry will continue to grow and impact the lives and culture of our community, while always giving all the glory to God.
